Abstract: This week the NBN Co released a Consultation Paper on its proposed strategy for FY27 to FY29, as part of the periodic review of its Special Access Undertaking (SAU). The Paper is underpinned by assumptions about connection takeup, future pricing and customer upsell that are not completely transparent. However, it is clear that NBN Co anticipates a significant acceleration in connections to underpin its demand forecast, in contrast to the last two years.
